I am in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Here, dating is considered as "illegal" and "offensive". Why ?
(Is it directly or indirectly involved with our "Human Rights")?

This is making reference to Islam, cuz u're not suppose to engage in any dating and stuff with the opposite sex before you're married! isn't that one of the rules of Islam? a sin? as far as i know, this is what i've heard. Well most people in UAE are Muslim so it's got nothing to do with its human rights because it's part of the religion but yeah generally speaking it does take some human rights away, like wanting to be free to date at any age but u cant do that if you are Muslim before you are married.

Men and women who are not related and who are not married are not permitted to be alone according to Islam. They have a saying, when a man and women are alone in a room (of course unmarried or not related) the devil is there also.
