Animal Farm is a novel by George Orwell, and is regarded in the literary field as one of the most famous satirical allegories of Soviet totalitarianism. Orwell based major events in the book on novels from the Soviet Union during the Stalin era. Orwell, a democratic socialist, and a member of the Independent Labour Party for many years, was a critic of Stalin, and was suspicious of Moscow-directed Stalinism after his experiences in the Spanish Civil War.

Animals revolt and take over a farm. At first they run it to benefit all the animals. Then the pigs take command because they are the most educated and literate. The pigs begin to get greedy, they make deals with the humans and start to act like humans.
Finally the animals do not see a difference between the pigs and humans.
It symbolizes communism. At first it seems like a good idea but then corruption seeps in and destroys it.

Animal farm is very relative to the soviet union. George Orwell made that billergent book "Animal Farm" to show people not as educated as him. After reading the book you can kind of understand the feeling back then. The plot is not anything basic but here is goes ...

Animals on farm being miserable by the way people are treating them. They make a revolution, try to set Communism, horses are working, oxen are being stupid, dogs obedient, and finally-pigs are getting on top of everything.
At the beginning the animal moto was"All animals are equal", at the end it is "All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others". Quick enough? Now, read it, please.

it is a parody of the animal kingdom, which included humans. Pigs are know to be "greedy" so they symbolise humans and want to control other animals! The rest of the animals just want basic freedoms and have no outlandish desires, other than to be free. The end of the pigs reign reflects how human kind will end their reign, due to greed and lack of compassion...
