Is this the sexist area?? Just guys cheat? Your guy is only good for 15 minutes?

I was married for 20 years before I found out my now ex wife had been having affairs. I believe that a marriage can overcome any problem when both want it, but apparently she was the one wanting to throw it away for a quick bang. Why do women do this?

Not all men are willing to throw away their marriage, not even for that.
Some think they'll never get caught. Some are looking for attention/affection/respect that they don't get at home. Some are stupid and/or selfish. Some are just horny.
Women do it too... but most women cheat because they're not getting their 'emotional needs' met at home, and don't go into it looking for sex, but for the feelings attached to the affair.

Speaking only for myself. I am not "so ready" to throw away my marriage. I made a mistake and it must be corrected. If you're not happy ; what's the point?
Aside from myself, men generally leave marriages because they have to. As a matter of fact, most men tend to want to keep their marriages alive.

Women do it too. Don't just put this on the guys. I've seen too many women here on the Army post throw away good hard-working husbands, because they're bored or lonely while their husbands are in Iraq. I think women might generally do it for different reasons...more emotional fulfillment than for physical like the men. It sucks and it hurts everyone.

A 15 minute booty call?!? They should not have been married in the 1st place is 15 minutes of sex will cost them their marriage..

Not me.I wouldn't have thrown it away for a month worth of booty calls. My ex wife did.She decided that the fifteen minutes was worth more than sixteen years.

I don`t think all men that cheat are despicable,cheating hurts everyone. Most men are faithful to their wives and love their wives. It`s the men that are emotionally damaged that cheat. They are insecure and need to know that they can still be loved by another women, or that they still have it. Besides for every man that cheats, there is a women that cheats with him....
