Officially the time change occurs at 2 AM in the early morning of Sunday. Most people move their clocks on Saturday night before going to bed.

my instructor advised me it replaced into because of the fact lower back in the time of WWI or WWII (i'm no longer able to remember which one) they could set the clocks backwards/forwards because of the sunlight so there could be equivalent combating time in the time of sunlight 365 days around.
