Here is the quickest way to do your room Set your alarm clock to go off in 15 min´s , see how much you can do in that time. OKAY., set the clock . all dirty clothes in a pile next to the door, and anything else that does not belong , you take take the dirty clothes to the laundry when you finish& all the other things put back in there righful places, all clean clothes, jeans , belts, jumpers into the closet, oops dont forget the shoes STOP. How are we doing so far? if you think you have had enough for today then stop if you think you would like to carry on ,then set your clock again . This is the fastest way to do any room & when you have finished reward yourself . Come back and tell us how you did

Depends on how messy you are. If you keep up with it, you can spend 10 minutes a day striaghtening up and then you only have to do a "spring cleaning" type once a month. Every day pick up dirty clothes, dishes, etc. and put them away. Always make your bed every day. And spend about five minutes dusting the furniture, tv, mirrors. It will stay clean, and you don't have to deal with a huge mess every couple weeks. Then every now and then you can deep clean everything like behind dressers and under the bed and closet. As long as you stay on top of it, it's only one room, it shouldn't be bad to make a habit of straightening up every day.

You wont like me on this one but ALL my kids had to vacume and dust weekly.... beds made before school EVERY DAY. trash and clothes put away daily.... you have to remember its your room

You should do it everyday. You will not get overwhelmed that way, because it will never be that messy.
