She has been bleeding from her back passage for a week now, my mum has had it b4 but the symptoms cleared in a few days after the doctors gave her something for it. This time she has been taking medicine for it too but she is still bleeding. Anyone know what she should do? Thanks

As long as it's piles, then she needs to get some medicine for it. If it's not piles, and she's got rectal bleeding, then she'll need to go to the doctor for this....because that could be serious. Best of luck to you, and her.

They can lay dormant for a long time and then come back, I had them when I was pregnant, and then they dissapeared. They can come back if you are having trouble having a poo, but I'd get back to the doctors for advice first.

hi i know its not nice but maybe have a look if you can see anything hanging down or swolen round her bottom then yes it might also be a little painful to sit in one position for her other than that is she constipated she might have an anal fissure if so as it can tear the bottom a little when straining
get her lots of high fibre in her diet fruit as well might regulate her

Take her back to the doctor and tell that the medication isn't catching on, your mom propably got resistant to it and will need a heavier dosage.
