talk to your priciple, talk to your teacher, put up a small reward hoping that somebody honest found it. Talk around asking if anybody found it. If after a while it doesn't turn up tell your mom that you lost it and that you have learned your lesson not to misplace your nintendo ds. she might buy you a new one (my mom wouldn't do that though) or might have you pay for one depending on your age. Hope you find it.

I know, I know. I've been through this. My son took a $30.00 watch to school and left it on his desk. He had to take it off to paint a cross since it was Christmas time. I contacted the teacher of my son and asked her to have a very stern talking to every kid in the class. Hopefully a kid stole it and raised his hand and handed it to my son. Hope if this tactic will help you but maybe cause DS's cost $115 I'm not sure if it'll show up. But oh well. ( so tell your mom. she won't be happy but at least you'll have your DS back. )

Retrace your steps. Look everywhere you had been, including bathrooms, the classrooms you been in, the princaples office or the cafeteria. Most people would find what they lost by retracing their steps and ending up finding what they had lost. I sure hope this is helpful and I hope your mom doesn't find out about this, either.

i'd be surprised if you get it back...i'd never take something like that to school in the first place. but ask around if anyone has seen it, and keep an eye out for it, you never know, someone could be playing it thinking they got a real prize. let your mom know too.

It was your resposibilty. Why did you bring it to school? Somebody must of stole it or something. Oh well...you should've been careful and put it somewhere safe. Ask everybody u know if they have seen it or have it. Sorry 'bout what happened.

You should not have taken it with you at school in the first place. I don't see anything that you can do. Advise your school staff but if it were stolen I don't see why the robber would give it back to you.

ask your mom discreetly if she has seen it or maybe you lent to someone and they never gave it back
