The Athenians were from Greece that is Athens, the cultural, philosophical, and cultural center of the Greek world. Spartans were from their rival city-state , Sparta known for their warriors.Both were key players in the development of the Hellenic influence throughout the world.

in ancient Greece, there were 2 most powerful city states, Athens and Sparta. Athenians were known for their love for art and philosophy, and Soartans for their war art and very rigid pedagogy, raising their children to be soldiers from very early age. interesting thing about them is that they left the "weak" ones in the forest to be eaten by wolves!
