First of all, if you don't know all of the Republican candidates, don't make a list that only comprises the media-elected candidates. You're forgetting about a real qualified individual: Dr. Ron Paul. Haven't heard of him, what?? Yes, it's time to realize that those that receive the most air time aren't always the most qualified. Does the news show you the candidates' policies and positions or the news-worthy controversies? Unlike the media, I will give you a source for Paul's position: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_views_of_Ron_Paul
I suggest that no one votes before researching all viable candidates. So, who's my favorite candidate up there? Well, I'm going to write "Dr. Ron Paul" because he was conveniently left out of your list and the media's list.

Off of that list, it is hard to pick between Newt and Rudy. Newt is probably un-electable. Rudy would be tough on terrorism and NAtional Defense, but I don't care for his social liberalism.
Romney will let the gun-nazis take all of our guns and John McCain is a moon-bat. One of the most liberal Republicans. He certainly does not have a very good record of securing the border, even in his own state.
So I'd probably settle for Rudy, but am holding out hope that someone else emerges. Duncan Hunter?

Coming from someone who will FINALLY be able to vote this '08 elections.
Althought I am don't go republican. I think Giuliani is the best canidate.
His ideas involve both the conservative side and the liberal.
The way he ran the biggest city in America was amazing.
Everything thing from tax breaks, to his well-known crime rate decresements, to something even like welfare reforms, and the education improvements!

John McCain - I saw him speak recently - He has a big heart and is very intelligent. He tells it like it is and not what people want to hear. Sometimes it is hard to listen to the truth - for example - what to do in Iraq. My son is in the Army Reserves and is ready to go if needed.
Fred Thmpson is an interesting long-shot!! He would be a great choice after McCain.

I like Sam Brownback. Rudy & Newt have a lot of baggage from their personal lives, but that doesn't necessarilly mean I wouldn't vote for either 1 of them. I don't know enough about Romney.
