I think so, and here is my experience:

I met this lesbian who said she was a multi-cultural feminist and lesbian who sported a worldview. She got on my case because I like to play softball, especially if there are trophies awarded afterwards and if there is a keg of beer to tap. She claimed this was a stereotypical thing for lesbians to do and not worldly. She also said I was environmentally unfriendly since I am a member of Dykes on Bikes and like to ride around with my sisters on my Harley.

Overall, I just thought this gal needed to lighten up a little. What do you think?

That lezzie is extreme...just like the straights have got their crazies...they're not all bad, but they sure do stick out like a sore thumb, huh? I think what you do is awesome! Softball is exercise, and who doesn't need a healthy hobby? Who doesn't love keg beer and Dykes on Bikes is an awesome organization! Rock on sister! ;)

Usually. I don't mind the feminist cause- hey, I'm all for freedom and equal women's rights!- and I love lesbians, but for some reason, when you combine the two, particularly if they're militantly feminist, they just seem to lose that special something.

Still, I don't mind humorless. What I really hate is people who think that there is a certain way to be a lesbian, a "right way", and that someone shouldn't "be a stereotype". Some people fit the stereotypes! Once you start prescribing ways to be the right kind of anything, you know you've started down a bad path. I love the diversity within the lesbian community, all the wonderful ways of being, and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

This girl you know definitely needs to lighten up, in my point of view.

First off, what lesbian isn't a feminist? Who doesn't "sport" a worldview? As for a sense of humor, I don't think one's socio/sexual identification has anything to do with it. A sense of humor is a sense of humor no matter who you are. It sounds to me like this person needs an ego check as well as a little conversation with "Emissions Control" (all SORTS of possibilities there, don't you think?). I'd pay little attention to her. You, on the other hand, sound considerably more grounded and probably have a lot more friends than this angst-ridden individual. Ride on, Sis!

Cor she's a bit boring! I mean don't get me wrong i admire women who have their ideals and stick to them but it just sounds that she doesn't appreciate other people don't agree with her opinions.
Just don't tar all feminist lesbo's with the same brush!
