It's a gimmick. It doesnt actually "restore" anything. Most of those additives and quick fixes will cause more damage in the long run, and not show much improvement in your engine in the short term.

My brother used it on an old pickup, and I've used various coolant sealing products. I would not recommend any "easy fix in a can" sort of product. My experience has been that these may work for a few months or maybe a couple years, but are not permanent fixes. And many of them can cause damage by sealing up the wrong things, leaving you worse off than before. I'd only use one on a severely worn out vehicle that I wanted to keep on the road another year before sending it to the junkyard.

If you care about the car at all, fix things the right way.

I have used different type of "restore" through the years and there is something you shouldknow.

There is no "magic" cure for worn or damaged engine parts. There is NO attitive that will bring worn or damaged parts back. There are some cleaners that can remove carbon deposits but that is it. You can change your spark plugs, change your oil and flush your cooling system and keep the levels up with clean fluids. You cannot magically "restore" something that needs to be torn down and repaired.
