The USA should really adopt the numbers valid in the rest of the world, when they are higher than a million. I know that you call a billion what is here a milliard. But after that the differences become even bigger: for you, a trillion is 1'000 billions, for us 1'000'000 of our billions. So a US trillion is a mere 1'000'000'000'000, but our trillion is 1'000'000'000'000'000'000. Therefore it would be difficult to become a trillionaire here, unless by changing one's money into a currency with very little value.
We count thousand, million, milliard, billion, billiard, trillion, trilliard, quadrillion, quadrilliard, etc.
For you it is thousand, million, billion, trillion, quadrillion, quintillion etc.
