Personally I do not think so. Music elevates the atmosphere in a film adding to the visual spectacle. The great film composers, e.g. John Williams, Danny Elfman, Malcolm Arnold, Hans Zimmer, Ron Goodwin (to name but a few), are able to do this with ease.
The detractors will probably say that most film music is derivative, i.e. copied/adapted from other 'art music', but you could argue that ALL music is derived from what has gone before.
Some noted 'art music' composers have written for film: Prokofiev, Shostakovich, Britten, Vaughan-Williams to name but a few.

Black human beings invented blues. And it took off and progressed into rock and roll. The blues lifestyle is noticeably lots lifeless, thats why you do not see any black blues gamers. purely the comparable as you do not hear new bands enjoying 70's disco music anymore. It purely strikes on. Its a shame, because of the fact blues is beneficial, its remarkable. Freddie King, B.B. King, etc. do not ask me the place Rap and "R n B" got here from, yet i think of it had something to do with the 'ninety's, the decade whilst all music went downhill! Oh nicely, we nevertheless have our rec'ids! good success!
