Quit playing - it's obviously not a priority so it doesn't matter.
Or borrow, someone on the team may let use theirs as they will may change into cleats at practice. Guys won't do this, they will make you go barefoot and then try to step on you on every play.

You apologize to your coach and all of your teammates for not taking softball seriously to be prepared for your practice.
