My husband and I are TTC and he has been out of town for work. He will be coming home a few days after I should ovulate and we would like to get pregnant this cycle because he will be gone travelling again soon.

the only way to reset your cycle is through birth control, but that takes several months and you still can't exactly plan when you're going to ovulate, it will just be different when you stop taking birth control than it was before you started. As far as trying to change it in a week, I'm sorry sweetie you can't. But go ahead and have sex before he leaves and when he comes back even if it's not right at your ovulation time because the sperm can live for several days inside you, and ovulation is not exact, the egg may still be ready for fertilization when he gets back. good luck!

there is no way to purposefully delay ovulation. All you can do is hope that maybe your body delayed ovulation for you by chance, and have sex when he comes home. You never know! If not, you will just have to wait for the next cycle. I know, it's no fun. :(

Unfortunately, no, there isn't a way to postpone or delay ovulation.
