What you do is:
1. Run the lace evenly through the bottom with lace going into the shoe.
2. Start on one side and feed the lace out of the first hole, then across into the other side.
3. Then you feed the lace from that side up to and out the next open hole, then across into the other side.
4. Repeat to the top of the shoe.

The people at pacsun can show you HOW to ladder lace your shoes (thats what we call it), but we're actually not allowed to laced them that way for you because lacing them that was can actually damage the shoe depending on how you do it. There are 2 ways.
The way you really should ladder lace to make your shoe last longer is run the lace under the tongue. The step by step directions the girl above left ARE the right way to start, you just want to make sure you run the lace under the tongue for support. Its almost like lacing your shoes backwards because the laces will cross under the tongue where you cant see it.

if you get your shoes at a place like Pac-Sun then the people there can usually help you do it but if you didnt then i'll describe it.
start at the bottom and lace through both sides (you'll want to push the laces through the holes towards the inside).
then you use one end of the lace and push it through both sides at the next level (you don't cross to get to the next level, you just go up the side). then you do that for every level, you just skip every other one for each side.
( lol,my older sister taught me. ;-P)

White, yellow, blue, orange. very advantageous colour sequence. i think of you would be able to desire to objective that one on for length. LOL
