Pronouncing it like 'ah mund' is the preferred pronunciation but saying it like 'ahl mund' is accepted as well. I know some people are saying you are not supposed to pronounce the 'L' but it is accepted.

Ah-mund you are not supposed to pronounce the "L" just like you do not pronounce the T in "often"

I pronounce it Argh Mond, but then I`m from East Anglia and other people say we talk funny around here!!! Which of course we don`t!

The L is not pronounced.
It's either pronounced "AW mund" or "AH mund".
