the nano is smaller and, as you said, very horny. it truly is likewise flash depending, which will make it somewhat more suitable sturdy as there is not any confusing stress to placed on out (no transferring aspects). besides the undeniable fact that, only as contained in the older ipod mini, you pay so a lot more suitable $ in line with gb; regardless of the truth that the video function isn't all that useful, you'll spend a lot less time futzing along with your library (guide updates, etc) with the more suitable skill of the 30 gig. How massive is your library?... using the undeniable fact that more suitable 24 gig is ineffective in case you dont like it. I particularly have 60gb video, yet i gotta inform you- the concept of "carrying round your dvd library" and connecting it to a significantly better computer screen is crap, more often than not because the low res ipod video format sounds like crap even as seen on a "frequent" length exhibit. p.s there's a 6gb nano contained in the works, if no longer already for sale; it truly relies upon on what you want to do with it, and for the money i imagine the 30gb video is a more suitable positive cost (regardless of the truth that larger and heavier).

I'd say it's close to 10-15 songs again depending on quality of the video conversion. I've tried converting DVDs to play on ipods and the files are 500 Mb or larger.

A 2 hour move is about 750mb and a song is usually about 3-4mb. So a 2 hour movie is about 250 songs I think ((I'm not good at Maths))!

you can't really say. cus everything depend on quality. if it were all the same like 128 kbps at 44 maybe 25 songs could do about a half hour show. you ust cant mix cus the quailty is what matters the most. sorry.
