i really don't care if i get best answer or not i just like to get my opinion out

Well, i want to answer only if I can really contribute to the person that has the question. If the correct answer is already there then i shy away from just writing the same response or similar same responses. So the answer here is; it doesn't matter how many have answered if the correct answer isn't up there and i know it then I will just throw it up there. If my response helps then I know I will get best answer. I measure my best answers by how did I help and not who has a higher score.

If I have the answer, I will provide it regardless. If someone else answered CORRECTLY before I get there, I won't bother. I've got so many important things to do with my life like watching SEINFELD reruns or soaking in a tepid vat of my own filth.

No, I answer the ones I think are interesting. Or possibly make me think about something. I don't worry about best answer. I just have fun.

unless it's a really stupid question I'll sometimes answer just because I feel sorry for them

yup, i sometimes do taht in homework help,
i look for an answer tah thas been asked like 2 hrs. before, and try to answer, and THEN I GET CHOOSEN AS BEST!

not really but yeah actually yeah i do but still in polls and surveys i like answering any question that interests me not looking at how many people answered it

sure, i do that, sometimes I search for questions with 0 or 1 answers and then give it my all.
