I just hate it when people are so desperate to appear serious and respectable; you know, extremely careful not to say or do anything silly or look funny to the point of losing their sense of humour and becoming as cold as stone.

To "helehelo": You are the one who needs to relax; we're not talking about money or shares here, but some silly virtual points! Lol!

To "Jennifer": No, of course not. In that sense I'm serious myself. I'm just talking about those who see people having a sense of humour as foolish.

I'm sorry you hate that. I don't try to be serious and respectable. I am just serious and don't smile a lot but I don't find it a problem. When I find something funny though, I REALLY find it funny and keep laughing for days. I don't like saying anything silly if it embarrasses anyone or makes them look stupid. Maybe you mean people who try to be something they aren't, thats different. They are probably worried about being judged by someone and being hated....

I love someone with a sense of humor, I think it takes a very smart mind to make others laugh, and laughter is good for you it creates good health, you can be respectable and have a sense of humor, tasteful, discreet and yet make others split there sides. Why not have it all.

I'm sometimes serious and sometimes goofy. Depends on what mood I'm in when I get on here. Don't stress so much!!! It's not worth the 5 points you wasted asking this question!

Being earnest mean to be honest. You can be honest and still have a good time. Smiling lifts all those around you.

There is nothing wrong with a sense of humor, when done right.

So you don't vote? Apparently, voters love such people. That's why all of out leaders fit this profile.
