I have always liked Thanksgiving the best. It's not a time for presents and cold weather. It's a time for a gathering, thankful feast. The kids are more serious because they are not running around screamign out presents. Yeha, that's cute and all, but calm down! Good Food, too!

Victoria Day, May 24 weekend is huge in Canada cause it's the first outdoor blowout of the summer. Fireworks, sun, and beer.

Christmas. It just feels different at that time of year. Everyone is nicer & actually goes out of their way to do the right thing, ya know?

I love Easter, celebrating Jesus' resurection. And it gives me hope that warm weather is close by. Plus, I love all the pastel colors.

Ground Hog's Day, because it marks the time when we have possibly survived another winter. I celebrate it every year, and people think I'm nuts.

I kind of always liked Halloween, because it allows you to be creative with costumes and there isn't the pressure to buy gifts and cards.

Thanksgiving. I love it. It's all about being with family. No gifts expected...just lots of food and companionship.
