I need to make out a really bad character for my story...?

Think of special agents from Matrix - I need some bad guys to be chasing after my protagonist. They can't be federal agents because it's too obvious. Tell me the most disgusting characters/people/professions that you can imagine. What people do you fear the most?

Jabba the Hut as a dentist or proctologist. Or an embalmer.

Yeah, it's kind of hard to invent people when we don't know the plot line. You don't really want them to be a stereotype, but you want them to be cold and calculated as well. You don't your reader to identify with or feel any sympathy towards your villains what so ever.

You could simply invent a branch of government in which these *agents* work. They could be rogue agents out for personal vengeance, or on assignment. They could be genetically engineered savants - super intelligent and resourceful (and of course well armed) but with no emotional connection to the real world at all.

They could be chameleon like, or painfully obvious (think Men in Black). They could be twins, or a male and female. Or an assassin and a handler (think female assassin with a brutal male handler - he would be older and of course they would be intimate at some point or all along).

Oh the villainous possibilities are endless! I love villains, they make me job worthwhile.

First you need to tell us about your main character. WHat is he doing? What is his career field? What is he protecting? Until we have those details, we don't know whether he should be pursued by government, industry, religious zealots or aliens.
