i buy the cds. ive never downloaded a song, even the cds that come with a free download ive never done it. all the songs that i have on my ipod are from my cds.

I always buy the CD. I dated a girl a ways back that was a struggling musician. She finally made an album that was doing rather well. But people weren't buying the CD's, they were downloading her off of iTunes. The album sales were so low that she had to pay for the production fees out of her own pocket. The royalties off of iTunes helped but not enough.

I would do both as alot of times my cd might start to skip (the one I purchased) and so I always have a backup...
