The main problems are birth, death, disease and old age. Every person is subject to these four conditions. In addition, every person suffers three kinds of miseries in life:

Those miseries we bring upon ourselves due to bad decisions and lack of knowledge, such as mental anxiety, emotional turmoil, addictions, debt, and dishonor;

Those miseries brought upon us by other living beings, in the form of attack, deceit, exploitation, oppression, and irresponsible leadership;

And those miseries brought upon us by material nature, in the form of calamity, natural disasters, and disease.

No one escapes either the four conditions or the three types of miseries. These are the real problems in life, modern or otherwise. It is the intelligent individuals who recognize this, and we should use our resources to solve these problems first.

First ot all, I agree to "Gerry", "Skeptic_xyz", "Long Strider", and "qIn ShI hUaNg".

Snobbery, pretence, and stress to do things that you don't want to do like clubbing, branded fashion, "doing things their way", seeking public approval in every damn thing. Changing or hiding your opinions or pretending to do things you don't like to fit into popular groups.

In the end, every individual has the right to live life their own way. It's a sad testament to the so-called modern world we live in, but people are judgmental and skeptical of anyone who doesn't fit "hip n happening" norms of society. Always remember one thing, never lose your focus to acheive your goals.
