Who is Victoria's Secret and why the hell is she/he so popular,i mean is just underwear and pijamas,i mean you can buy those things at any other store plus they are super expensive,but still us girls seemed to be drawn to it,i sure am?why and again,who is this Victoria's Secret?Somebody told me the designer was a man,but i don't relly know?

Victoria's Secret is just a name. The store concept was designed around the same time Express was designed, by the Limited. Both stores were instant successes (and then what's interesting is that soon after they revived abercrombie, which had gone out of business, and remarketed that as a teen clothing store instead of an outdoor equipment store like it was in 1892.)
And why I think we all like it... it's just really cute stuff and the marketing is like sophisticated sexy at the same time. True you could buy this stuff at walmart or target, but it's just really good marketing, and it's really a unique store. After all, how many other lingerie stores do you know that are this famous out there?
**Edit: haha I love reading about the history of brand name stores and how entrepreneurs started them up, it's so interesting!

VS is just another brand--just as popular and over-dramatized like other stores.
I always liked VS Beauty supplies--I've found their makeup to be more pricey but worth it. The employees in the store are very helpful if it's not a too busy time. They now carry the Pout brand of make up and I LOVE the high-color eyeshadows!

I think alot of it is psychological. It is SOOOOO fun to go pick out sexy new things when you have a new Significant other or to perk up a current relationship. There stuff is our sexy inner "Angel" as they say. Roll with it, its a fun luxury for hard working girls to spend there dollas! If you choose not to, thats okay too. But OMG I LOVE IT!
