They left the show, remember. They even said on the show that they were being replaced. BET screwed them over, they fired them because they wanted something new.

Speculation is that friction with upper management caused the hosts to leave the show after their contract ran out and could not reach a new agreement due to some contract disputes with BET executives. Nowadays, Free is about to release her debut album & AJ can now be seen on the entertainment TV show Extra.
