y+4=(x-1)3
y+4=3x-3
y-3x+7=0

plug into y=mx+b
-4=3(1) +b
b=-7
so equation is y=3x-7

y + 4 = 3x - 3
y = 3x - 3 - 4
y = 3x - 7

No eqution you got is wrong.
it will be y-y1=m(x-x1)
y+4=3(x-1)
y+4=3x-3
y=3x-7
this will be eqution of line
