why my monitor got no signal message?

I just brought a tv with a vga input.. my computer display card had 2 output..
1 dvi and 1 vga.. i connect the dvi (digital) to my monitor and vga to my new tv...

is it possible for me to run 2 display concurrently? meaning the computer display will be on monitor as well as my tv... how can i make this happen ? thanks

Hi. Some video card control programs allow you to check a box for "Force TV detection". Try that. And, yes, you should be able to display to both monitors.
