32-35 days is within the range of a normal, healthy cycle. If you're not dealing with other health problems like PCOS, blocked tubes, thyroid issues and other things that may impact fertility, it shouldn't affect your ability to concieve. What the length of your cycle will impact is when you ovulate. While many of us are told at some point that we ovulate on 14 days after our periods start, that's really not true. We usually ovulate between ten and sixteen days before our periods start. What that means is that with a cycle that's 32 days, you're probably ovulating between 16 and 22 days after your period starts, for example. You may want to try using ovulation predictor kits (you can find them at the drugstore near the pregnancy tests) or charting your BBT to see what your pattern is-generally, the number of days between when you ovulate and when you menstruate (your luteal phase) will remain consistent from month to month. If it's 12 days when you have a 32 day cycle, it'll still be 12 days when you have a 35 day cycle.

Good luck.

I encourage you to check out the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility or the website fertilityfriend.com for lots more information about charting.

Most couples concieve after one year of having unprotected sex. After a year, it's often a good idea to talk to a health care provider or doctor and discuss whether there may be other health issues impacting the ability to get pregnant. If you've never charted cycles or used OPKs before, because you've been trying for two years already, you may want to do that for a few months, and if you're still not pregnant, speak to your doctor.

32 - 34 days is within the range of a "normal" cycle, but it is a bit on the long side. charting really is the bets thing you can do to make sure that your ovulating. if your luteal phase is 10 - 17 days is length and you are ovulating it means you are ovulating around day 15 - 22. charting your bbt will give you a better idea of when. after 2 yrs of trying it is also worth a visit to a RE.

There you go....start the bbt chart. That really shows a lot.

Also, if you can check your cervical mucus.

I would say that if you try intercourse every other day between days 12 and 24, you should be able to get pregnant.

If you are overweight, just losing 10 pounds can help fertility.

I have long cycles, too. Sometimes it has been almost 40 days. Charting helps you learn your cycle but it doesn't help you ovulate. I have been seeing a fertility specialist and he put me on clomid to regulate my cycle. I also take a shot of ovidrel to release the egg. If you have been trying for two years I would get a referral to a specialist. Good luck.
