Seems a bit fatuous, don ya think?

It's meant to show brotherhood, affection, respect. Nowadays, it doesn't mean as much because everybody is using it. Wouldn't it be nice if everyone truly felt and practiced that sense of brotherhood, sisterhood? Ah, well. Guess I'm just a dreamer at heart. Reading some of the racist blogs, on Yahoo makes me so sad for mankind.

I dont know what "fatuous" means...but they do it to make it seem as if they are tight with each other, they understand the struggles they are both going through

It's brothas and most of us refer to our close friends today as 'ma niggas' or ma niqqa'. As in, dude, you know you my niqqa on the real and yes that goes for our white brothas as well.
So now I'm sure someone is going to tell be how politically incorrect I am and how I should not use the N word...blah blah blah! LMBAO!
