yes a 23 is good. The test is out of 36, but a 21 is the average score. I have taken the ACTs a few time and each time I noticed my score increasing. For the stress problem, just relax. Try not to think about what you are about to do. You have to trust yourself that you know and have learned all you need to prepare yourself. Give it your best effort and don't get discouraged if you don't do well. Make sure while taking the time and follow everything they taught you in that prep class, those really do help.

the average score is 19-23. The highest score that can be obtained is a 36.

You scored as average. You'll be able to get into a college so don't worry!

You're score is fine. Just keep reviewing a little bit before the test this weekend. Each time you take it, you should improve in your score.

However, 23 on the retired test is good. Don't stress.

Good Luck on the test!

If you want to go to college a 23 is not really that good. Sorry to be so pretentious but I'm trying to be honest. You'll get into less pretegious colleges, def. CC. Your dad is just trying to be supporitve. The nice thing about the ACT is that you can take it as many times as you want and only send in your best score( as opposed to SAT).
