I want to buy an unlocked phone and have no contract but unlocked phones are REALLY expensive. Should I just get a 2 yr contract and pay close to nothing for my phone?

In my opinon if you are happy with your wireless carrier sign the contract and have a good warranty and have the option of getting insurance.

A expensive unlock phone is risky if you do not know where to get it fixed if you have a problem.

Check out WalMart, I temporarily have a brain freeze on the name of the phone that they carry. It is inexpensive and you buy your minutes in blocks, and "no" contracts. The best of both worlds.
