My friend Missy has a Ouija board, and she doesnt follow any relegion so she believes in that. She gets really into it and believes it, and sometimes even swears that the spirits are messing up her life. As I see it, it is made by Milton Bradley and is just as much as a game as Candyland. I believe in Christ and I say it is just a game. What do you think?

Uhh we play it at sleepovers and we have been "talking" to this one spirit named Tad who claims he is the spirit of Edgar Allen Poe. He has acted as a little bit of a poltergeist in my friends houses, except for mine. Has anyone ever "talked" to him or contacted him? If so, what does he do/say?

Um also, i have not told my parents i play, but somehow they found out. They were mad at first, but then i talked to my dad about it and he says it's just a game. Also i have talked to my aunt about it, and she played it as a little girl and she claims it is only a creepy game that is fun to play, and told me not to get too creeped out over it.

(the above details are more important so read those too)

the "spirits" arent spirits. they are demons. they are working for the devil to try to get you away from Christ. Read the Forbidden Doors series. there is one book about the ouija board. it is awesome. dont use it any more. they are bad, and they steer you away from Christ.

Take it from a free thinker who subscribes to no religion. This game is not something to believe nor is there spirits pushing the game piece around. It is subjective. Many times when people play this game one or more of the participants will either conciously or unconsiously push the piece in a different direction which gives the illusion thatt something is happening.

I think you and your friend are both very foolish. She is doing the spiritual equivalent of opening her front door and inviting any passing stranger to walk in. And you, are so blinkered by your religion that you aren't thinking logically. According to the bible, Christ rose from the dead right? He died so that people who believe in him could live on, But you know what, if some people can, everybody can also the bible talks about demons, I'm sure Christ cast a few out during his short but illustrious career. That is what your friend is inviting into her life and that is what you are blithely dismissing as just another game.

Think about it.

Its not a game, its a portal. you never know who's a gonna come knockin, though. i have seen some pretty weird things happen connected to a ouija board, and once you start using it, they keep coming and won't even wait for the board sometimes. since you dont know who or what is out there (spirits lie too) its best to stay away from that sort of thing....

ps usually they wont tell u their real names, because then u have power to control them, like when jesus asked the name of the demon called "legion" so he could cast them out...

I did when I was a child. It freaked my mom out because she believes that it is a way for spirits to enter our realm, the ones that enter are not friendly and try to harm others. That's what my mother believes. My sisters and I played with it, odd things did start to happen. We grew up with a poltergeist, so we tried to get him/her to tell us the name. It seems we angered it because things started to break in the house. Normally the poltergeist would move things not break them. We decided to stop playing with the board and things returned to normal.

take what you will from that true story. I believe there is something to them and like magic, you should never play with what you don't fully understand.

If you believe in Christ then you must believe there's evil spirits cuz he talks about them... Personally I don't believe the Ouija board works. If your friend thinks so try blind folding here and then see what the spirits spell out for her.. If she can't see it and its working well then maybe so. After blind folding her put the board in front of her upside down. HA,HA!!

I think it's like a lot of other things in life, it depends on each individual and how they feel about it. If your intent is to do harm, then you probably will (ouija board or not). If your intent is to talk to a dead relative then maybe you will gain a sense of peace. I haven't used one for years, but I wouldn't be worried if someone asked me to try it with them.

It's true after all.
I agree with the answer before, that's a portal, and u won't know what will come until it's come.
So if u really need that ( calling relatives ), used it with own risk.
Sometimes it never leave u alone.
