What is this TCP port used for?

I looked up and got "Macro 4 network AS". I have never heard of that service/protocol. Can anyone enlight me about it?

Well that is sometimes used for access management. If you arent running some program to connect to other computers (maybe even a NAS storage system) the port probably shouldnt be in use. if it is in use and you dont know why tell your firewall to block it and then scan for trojans or worms.

You could have a backdoor you didnt know about.

I am not writing in regard to this question. I was tracking my rebate on that damn Hanns-G 19" LCD monitor and found a link that you had asked that same question. How funny that when I clicked on the link it indicated that Yahoo "had" to remove that question. Thank god for caching on google.....I am having the same problem where it indicates that my rebate was valid, but I have yet to receive the rebate....7 MONTHS later! I am just as confused, and frankly, angry about it. RebatesHQ gives no information, nor does it give a link to customer service email like it promises. Honestly if I don't get any answers out of Office Depot, I am about ready to start a law suit against both RebatesHQ and office depot. Perhaps if it was a class action it would be better.... we can't be the only two who got screwed on this deal.
