I think that firstly we need to aks ourseves what we consider a "ghost". because, although there has never been any scientific evidence to prove ghosts, there are to many accounts of them throughout history for the matter to be ignored. but the thing is, though we can be almost sure that something does exist, if that something is a spirit of someone departed or something else? Arthur C. Clark, in his research of this matter, found that many more apparitions of living people than the dead ones where reported! there is a theory that explains this phenomenon by a thoery of "stone remembers"-saying that the place "remembers" or "records" people passing and can "play" the "recoring" at any time. however, this is very far-fetched and nobody has been able to answer why this "playback" would happen at precise moments. another once popular theory was that apparitions or "ghosts" are the result of dimensions overlapping, allowing people a glance of another "dimension" and a person in it. athough this is also a bit far-fetched, it seems more likely than the "stone remembers" theory. anyway, I am almost convinced that there definately is something, apparitions that even move and talk and all sorts of things, but, as Fox Mulder would say "the trurh is out there".

Ghosts are lingering spirits, spirits that didn't pass on. Thats how they get the title ghost. I believe they do exist because not everyone is ready to move on after death. Like, say you were paralyzed from the waist down. You can't walk anymore. Not a lot of people would be willing to move on and other would be willing to move on for their loved ones. Its kind of the same with spirits but flip flopped. There are people that are eager to die and those that want to stay around as long as possible. And I didn't need to mention any ghost stories and show pictures to come up with this conclusion. XD

Physics dont allow the existence such a thing as a Ghost. But, onthe other hand, physics doesnt rule out time travel so someday u can go and meet Ghost Uncle Chuck in person,

Ghosts, Santa, The Easter Bunny, The Tooth Fairy, The Boogeyman, God and the Great Pumkin all live in the same house in the Land of Make Believe.

Yes. As a child one of my closest friends was a ghost or "spirit" (if that conjures less semantics). It wasn't until I was a pre-teen that my parents realized I wasn't pretending. They hastily arranged for an exorcism. I haven't "seen" my ethereal comrade since.

Yup. I've seen one myself and both my father and my uncle hung around after their deaths. Oh, wait, they appeared. I don't want anyone to think they were hanged.

My father explained things to his granddaughter. She was three and wanted to know why she couldn't visit Grandpa any more. After his visit, she never asked to see him again.

My uncle just wanted to go home when he died so he did. He was seen on at least two separate occasions. He moved on only when we sold the house outside of the family and the new owner remodeled.

Having seen one solidly THERE while I was wide awake and sober, and then just suddenly disappear, I can state unequivocally that they do.
