First water proof them before wearing if possible - you wore them didn't you? That's OK, just clean them and then use a mink oil or other water proofing product (beeswax) or whatever. Then is really just a matter of cleaning them after you use them. If possible remove the shoelaces when you clean them and use a soft brush with a little soap and water.
Times have changed - I used to cover my new ones in dirt and have the other guys step on me so it looked like I had played ball before.....

Like they said. You've just gotta take a damp rag and rub the dirt off. That's about the only thing you can do to keep them looking clean.

Rub the out side with a was cloth after your games, and when you arent using them put them back in the shoe box

I use this stuff called AWSOME,it will clean anything.My sons shoes look like there bran new after a wipe down.You can get it at any dollar general store

Take a moist towell and wipe them down after every game, also if they get too dirty take a baby wipe and give them a good scrubbing

Warm water on a washcloth works well. I also use a shoe sponge to make them look shinier.
