Keep your eyes up because even in the game you will need to look up to see if a defender is coming. Glance down to make sure the ball is at your feet still. And when I defender comes on you your eyes should be on the ball to help you maintain the possession of the ball. When going down the field with the ball keep it a little in front of you so you can it but also be able to look for your passing options. Practice on a field or if you have a yard you can do that there. Practice by having the ball at your feet and dribble as if you were going down the field. Looking up for your passing options. You can also put up cones as defenders causing you to have to look up ahead or you will run into them. Good luck soccer is the best and so much fun. As I stated above there are times that you should be paying attention more to the ball but there are times when you need to look up. The key to soccer I believe is planning ahead. Plan ahead of time even before you get the ball what you would do if you got it. Where is everyone on the field? Where are they going to be? Delivering crosses I set up a little outside the side of the 18 yard line and cross the ball to the center for the strikers. Delivering I square my body up towards my target reaching point and I personally use my inside of my foot and get a little underneath the ball for a little lift and make sure you follow through with your kick for it to be powerful and forceful. SOCCER IS GREAT. IF you have any more questions I would love to help.

To start with, take one of your player freinds as your 'passing' partners. Whenever you have the ball, just anticipate where he would be after a few seconds and then shoot the ball in that direction. He should do the same. You can master this skill by practicing with only two players. After a little time, you'll see that the problem has gone. Good luck.

look down when you receive the ball but then look up right after you have trapped it

for crosses just try to get under the ball

for both remember wherever your planted foot is facing, is where the ball is going to go
