I'm 14 and i weigh 114 and I'm only 5'1! how can i loose weight? any tips or websites would be greatly apprieciated. I get called fat a lot and i believe im the fattest of all of my friends.

You know what? I don't really think that you are overweight. My daughter is 17, 5'3" tall and weighs about 137 pounds. She EASILY fits into a size 5/7 jean and wears a medium t-shirt or sweater. No one would has ever said anything about her being overweight. She's also a teen actress! She's been in numerous stage productions and even a movie! She hasn't lost any roles because of her size, either. The one thing you have to remember, sweetie, is that NO ONE looks like the models you see on magazine covers, etc. Even the most popular stars of today don't really look like they're perceived to look. They have people who MAKE them look that way, and the photographers that take their pictures know all the tricks of how to make them look thin as can be (special lighting, makeup techniques, air-brushing, body positioning, etc.) Have you ever seen Kelly Clarkson without makeup? She looks just as normal as you do -- same with people like Jessica Simpson, Fergie, etc. PLEASE do not strive to be a size 0 and thin as a rail! It's just not good for you! Being so thin that all your bones are showing is not attractive in any sense of the word!

Being obese is bad because

1. It drains our self confidence and energy to accomplish
2. Makes us feel bad about ourselves instead we should love

Solutions can be

1. Consult your parents and they will find you a good dietitian.
2. With this professional help and your compliance will bring results.
3. Cutting food intake unnecessarily will only harm your health.

4. Talk to your parents, Consult a dietitian and go for brisk walks and gymnasium.

So, next time you are called fat, answer yourself that you are going to follow the above because you love yourself and can't let people discount or discourage you.

If you want something that isn't too stressful, get into a dance class. Start with hip-hop because it will actually get you to lose weight, the guys are not as judgemental and you can show off later.

This activity for a year or so will get your body into the most perfect balance between muscle tone, slenderness, agility, flexibility and yeah. Plus you get to talk to guys who will be mostly nice to you. You gain so many skills and are GUARANTEED to have at least a few great times.

Move into jazz or something if you like it later.

If you want to loose weight, that's ok. But don't over do it. You don't have to be worried about your weight. If you still want to loose weight ask your parents. They know whats best for you.

Chances are that you're still growing and you need that weight so that you can get taller and fill out

Who told you, you were over weight? Girls at your age say crap because they are jealous and stupid, and guys at that age are just stupid. Be yourself and stop worrying about it. People suck at that age.
