As refering to Detoth and Leogirls rants, how do you two feel that I'm a liberal and I'm in the military? I don't burn flags like leogirl says. I'm not a coward like GWB, who was in the watered down "Air National Guard" and went AWOL, which is very illegal. I serve, I go to Iraq. Now, I don't support the war but I support my fellow brothers next to me. I support the USA, but not the agenda of war mongerers. Unfortunately, I can't choose the wars I fight. If this was a just war, I would have no problem. But, and this is from the soldiers mouth, this is all about money!!! When we go over there (myself and my friends), we guard oil rigs and teach the Iraqis to do the same. How is this teaching Democracy? How do you feel knowing that you Neocon's idea of a liberal is skewed? I protect your rights and your freedom. How come the NEocons except that a liberal does more for this country than they do? (and most of my soldier friends are liberal as well!) >:(

The link for "US VP CEO is not working correctly. You'll have to go to Halliburton.com and type "Cheney" into the search box.

My view of liberals has been right on. If you are in the military, then you are an exception to the libs. And so is legogirls.

Thank you for posting, you put a new perspective on this argument.

Yes, the neocon's idea of a liberal is skewed. Yes, you are there to enrich the neocons. Yes, I am a liberal, and I did serve in that last big war in southeast asia. Yes, GWB and all of his neocon friends are chickenhawks who never served, except the very few who never served outside the US.

Thank you for your service. I may be a liberal but I'm proud of you all. You've done your jobs remarkably well.

I will bet you one US dollar that you wouldn't call GW a coward to his face. It is one thing to run your mouth in here, but I bet in reality you are a brown noser and a REMF.

You signed a contract Einstein that says you would follow the orders of your superiors, so I bet you won't say anything to your chain of command about how you don't support the war.

I bet you are also a $hit House Lawyer.

Can I but in? Of course you guard the oil - if not for that, the terrorists would take control of them - and really cause havoc.

Can you show me where the USA is in it for the oil? Where we're taking it and doing something for our own benefit from it?

I know lots of guy (and a few girls) that have gone - some infantry, some rangers/special forces, some NBC (not the newsguy...) and all but one (and I guess you also now) agree that they need to be there.
