I think that right handed people usually stir clockwise and left handed people usually stir counter clockwise. I'm right handed so I stir clockwise.

its funny you ask.i just noticed yesterday i stir counterlockwisw.but every now and then i stir clockwise and then quickly stir the opposite way to really scare the food im making to mix together properly.
