I worked with a girl, and although not on welfare, she had four kids. She constantly complained about the tax cuts. Do you even pay taxes when you have 4 kids?

The cuts are helping me. I have had a great economic life under Bush.

Maybe since they don't get anything back. I've had a better time of it myself since the Bush tax cuts and I am certainly not one of those "ultra rich" that the libs insist are the only ones benefiting from it. Perhaps that's why some dems are thinking of giving the poor a "refund" at tax time even thought they don't pay any taxes!

To answer your question, yes, even with four kids you can pay taxes. I do taxes for people with four kids all the time.
Most people who are lower income are not happy with the Bush Administration because his policies favor tax cuts for the rich, he helps big banking get rich (Chapter 7 bankruptcy act, not stopping universal default billing).
Additionally, he has not cut government spending, but still cuts taxes for the rich.
Would it make sense in your household, if you got a job that paid 20% less, to go out and start buying big screen TVs, a Benz, a Hummer all on credit? No I don't think so.. That's why his plan is flawed.
So if you think that only welfare people complain about Bush's tax cuts, maybe welfare people are the only ones with common sense left in this country.
I have had an average economic life under Bush's regime. Nothing to be happy about though

Norm, get over yourself for a minute. You do realize, of course, that almost all of those tax cuts were geared at corporate swine who don't need it, right? The coffers are getting fatter, while the rest of us are increasingly falling below the poverty line, and we are unbelievably in debt. "Redistibution of wealth, blah blah blah," right? Hell yes, it needs to be done! Or the rich get richer and the poor get poorer! It's just wrong. Anyway, if you're not a fan of "redistributing wealth", then maybe you should think about the trillions of dollars in treasury bonds that we've given china in order to cover our budgets, thanks exclusively to this trickle-down Reaganomic bull-crap. Trust me, Norm, the tax cuts are definitely not helping you in the long run...unless you're making a million a year, in which case, you should have better things to do than type this ignorant garbage on yahoo all day.

ps- I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt by labeling you "ignorant", because if you aren't, then you must be a real crappy character.

No. The people who are complaining about the tax cuts are the ones who see that the cuts,

- mainly benefit Bush's wealthy base and corporations.
- are being done in a time of military conflict, something that was never done before.

Not at all. Bush's tax cuts make little sense because 1) he is concomitantly increasing spending, 2) the cuts help people with the most money.

20% of our nation's homeless are veterans. Walter Reed is a ******* mess.

Send people on a wild goose chase to find Weapons of Mass Destruction then not care for them when they get back?

Priorities?

Norm-really,
"a girl with 4 kids"?
your language gives you away.
You are seeking affirmation for your mistaken views
and I doubt you're going to find it.
Do you say "Nuke U Lar", too?
Sorry about that.
Good luck.
