First of all we aren't. I think most of us conservatives are pretty upset, and have voiced it, about the spending and the border situation.

Its called an adversarial democracy and that conflict is generally good for the system-it has a tendency to keep a modicum of honesty among the parties. In case you haven't noticed, the Democrats have the same flaws relative toward their own. I hardly think you can make a case that either party is very critical of their own leadership even in the best of circumstances. Joe Lieberman is a good case in point. While voting with the Dems 90% of the time, he was tossed in the ditch because of his support for the war. No matter your own feelings on matters that may affect an entire nation, vote the party line or else. Nice to know that they are all not simplistic zombies. Also, I don't know where you have been for the last 6 years, but the criticism from the left towards this administration has been particularly hateful over nearly every matter placed before the congress. The constant and unending drumbeat of crisis and criticism has been constant and unyielding. By the way, I think John Kerry invented flip-flop so please don't go there.

First, it is simply untrue that ALL Republicans are un-critical.
Yes, too many are drinking the Kool-Aide, but not all.
Second, this administration has actually shrunk the ranks of Republicans -- most of which have fled to third parties, such as Libertarian, though they'll still vote for genuine conservatives in the Republican party (when they can find any) -- having had their party stolen by the wing-nuts.
So please don't take a page from their book ("Why are Dems such ...?")
It simply isn't true that all Republicans have reacted the same, or think the same.
I deeply resent your making the left look bad. Had you made your question about supporters, not all Republicans, it would be a reasonable (well, more reasonable) question.

After you've lived seven, eight, or nine decades you learn that the Republican faults and flip flops are just about like the Democratic faults and flip flops, so politics are accepted.
Criticism ? Yes the one party certainly does criticize to other. That goes both ways.
After a while, if you're real honest with yourself, you'll learn that the two parties are pretty much to same.

Republicans are critical but based on who's data? A liberal owned media taht won't report ALL the facts on both sides of an argument?
Since you want us to be critical lets look at your use of flip flops. One of the liberal democrats complaints about Bush is that he made a decision and he is sticking to it. The democrats agreed with the intelligence reports to go to war and now they don't support that decision. So who is the flip flop?
The democrats say they support our troops they just don't support the Bush Administration. Isn't kind of the same thing? Bush is the Commander and Chief of the Military.
Democrats say the support our troops. Then send the back up units they request, not cut back forces while they're still fighting. Spend money on getting them armor they need, not benefit programs for illegal immigrants.
Democrats are in control of congress now. I challenge them to come up with a solution to win the war on terror! Not just a cowardly retreat. I challenge democrats to come up with a solution to seal our borders and exile illegal immigrants, while letting legal immigrants in. I challenge democrats to support veteran programs and health care AT LEAST as well as they do welfare programs. The vets earned it!

Do you REALLY believe that one side is different than the other in this matter? Honey, you need to read more and get out there and see it for yourself if you do! Personally, the name calling and absolute acceptance is, in my opinion, disgusting no matter WHAT side it is on. This is not a Republican nor a truly Democrat issue....Americans need to stop being so lazy and vow to keep themselves educated!

I don't know any Republicans like that. They are elected representatives, not leaders.
All i know is that Bush really is screwing up by refusing to seal that damned border and not deporting the illegal aliens.Other than that,I think he is doing a good job.

It's there inability to accept responsibility for their own actions. They have no problem with, as Matthew puts it, pointing out the specks in the eyes of others while ignoring the 2x4s in their own eyes.
