I'm looking to start losing weight (about 30lbs) within the next 6 months just with the diet and exercise, and didnt know if it will effect my chances while TTC? I am on Clomid days 3-7 100mgs, but did not know if this will interfere.

It should not interfere as long as you are eating healthy and staying within a 1200-1500 calorie diet depending on how much you weigh now..Don't over excercise either...that could change your cycle...just moderate excercise....cardio, light weight training, etc....But as far as interfering, it should make your body healthier and perhaps it will be easier to conceive...Worked as a nurse at Nutri-System for many years...If you need more detailed advice please feel free to email me....Good Luck!

I agree with the previous posters. Losing weight should not lessen your chances of conceiving at all. In most cases, it should help to better your chances.
If you still have questions call your doctor, they always know best.

Actually, losing weight (especially if you are overweight) will probably help you to concieve. A lot of the time women who are overweight have a harder time getting pregnant in the first place, so losing the weight might actually help you!
