Take a look at what I wrote for the other question you asked, (My boyfriend wonder what should he ask my dad to have his blessing...?) That answer also answers this question.
I hope that your boyfriend will do what he must to prove himself to you and your parents.
Good luck!

Hello Dear,
Just because your father has married someone else, doesn't appeared to like you may be far from the truth.
Your mom was right to tell you what she thought and it won't be long before dad really does in fact miss and care for you.

Blood is thicker than water.

Just try to be apart of dad's life by excepting the fact he married another lady.
Your mother will always be your mom, as well as dad will always be your father.
This lady that dad married is not trying to take the place of your mom or rob you of your dad, just wants a part of his heart just as you do.

Time will heal broken hearts, loneliness to be so far from a child will bring him closer to you.
Please try not to push or scare off your relationship between your father, his new wife and of course you.
No one want to pick and chose don't ever let it come down to this.
There is more than enough love for all and then some.
Just try it will pay off in the long run as you have a many years to fit it to dad's new life style and your new family.
Try to be happy as for your mother and father they want what's best for you and that is to be happy.
Good luck dear.

You can't convince him that you are in love. People fall in love many times. He's concerned with the practical aspects of your marriage - he can't tell whether you are really well taken care of if you are so far away and he can't somehow check on your safety. What if your husband turns out to be abusive?
Could you convince your husband to move closer to your parents? Have you suggested that?

Your dad's just worried about his daughter. Sometimes in marriage, you don't always have to resources to get back home to your mom and dad, so this guy needs to be someone that you're comfortable being around... without your parents.

It is not your responsibility to get your father's blessing - it is your fiancee's. If your fiancee' isn't doing that - or working on it, then perhaps your dad is concerned about how much love there really is between you two and why this man who is stealing his daughter isn't coming forth and working on this issue.

When you marry a man, you are marrying his whole family and your fiancee is marrying into your whole family. Starting off without the blessing of one or more of the parents is getting off to a rocky start.

The guy can promise you the world but you don't know what can come up in the future.. Best is to listen to your dad. He is a man and knows men better.

Just the way you write tells me you are far too young to have a clue what you're doing. Listen to your Dad.

First of all, he's probably not true to you, second, we already have way to many immigrants in the US. You know, we have our own to take care of here, and it's hard enough without adding any more to the population.
