I just saw this.
The "Day of Truth" is a project by anti-gay groups to bring the "truth" that LGBTs can (and should) change to public schools.

The rally and concerts:

And Exodus Youth, a division of the ex-gay group that targets teens and college students:

How should we respond to these?

The links are to illustrate what I'm talking about (as is a habit of mine), not to spam or advertise. I think it matters that something so popular with teens is being used like this.

Am not saying "censor them!" I'm saying "should we respond, and if so, how?" I wouldn't want to censor anyone--we LGBTs are too often on the receiving end of that nonsense.

Well I agree that they should be able to express themselves.
Its not by censoring them that anythings going to change. Censoring them is only going to piss them off even more and make them feel persecuted.
The change has to be made in their hearts, not in the words they use. The best we all can do is respect them and love them, thatll bring 'em around eventually.

I think responding to them would just "add fuel to the fire." People who are that ignorant aren't the type of people to listen to reason or the other side, much less actually care that what they're saying and doing is affecting people. They believe what they believe and I think for extremist like that any retaliation or attempt to reason with them would just reinforce they're own beliefs. I'm not saying let them step all over you but they have their 1st Ammendment right to freedom of speech the same way that LGBT have their right to voice their dissaproval.
In short, let the hard-headed-conservatists believe what they want-- no point in getting upset over people who don't want to listen.

This word homophobe is grossly misused. Nobody is afraid of gay people. That's just stupid. Do you understand that the people of Exodus are all former gays themselves?? Why would you want to hate on a group that is trying to help people that are like themselves? Just because you may not want to change, doesn't mean that there aren't those who do. I was one once and I was miserable. I am glad that there are these brave people willing to out their past problems to the world in order to give hope to those who may be suffering. I got freedom from homosexuality. My life is proof that change is possible if you want it. Don't deny people hope. Suicide is high in the gay community, and I think that denied hope is a big reason for that. Please let people change if they want to. Or are you a heterophobe??
Everyone has a right to free speech. There are plenty of people that feel the way you do, and plenty who feel the way I do on this issue. To each his own, let there be options. You seek to censor your opposition?? Does that mean you believe that your side can't stand up to the proof on the other side??

You ignore it. These groups - and others like them - are going to be around forever. They collapse, eventually, under the weight of their own stupidity, but they are, unfortunately, always replaced by the next one.
