This is my first year watching american idol and i wanna know what happens next week.
Do they sing more?
Do we still keep voting?
Are there any competitions?

The Final 12 will compete every week on Tuesday Night and viewers will call in and vote. On Wednesday one person (with lowest votes) will go home. This will continue every week till the season finale in May

Each week from here until the final 3
they have a theme they have to follow.
They each have to sing a song from that theme only (country music,50's music etc)and then Wednsday they vote off 1 person
until its down to the final two in May for
the finale.

Well, before they were divide by gender and one of each was booted off every week. Now they aren't divided and the lowest vote getter goes home every week. Also, they are singing on a bigger stage, and David Hasslehoff might be there.
