it`s called ick there maybe to little or to much ph acid in water check water, walmart has the kit you can check it with , talk to someone in the pet department ,your fish is slowly dying if you have any more fish in your tank it will spread and kill them to. i suggest you remove the healthy one if you have any in the tank with the sick fish.

He might be dead! see if he moves. if he does take him out and put him in another tank a ten gal would be great! it sounds like he eather has ick or a fungus problem!!! treat your tank with ick treatment just incase its that! so your other fish don't die from it! if its fungus you need to treat him with something! there are tons of stuff at that stare that will help! good luck and I hope hes not dead!!

the white action picture you're speaking approximately is named "ick". whilst it gets on the physique it sounds like cyrstals on the fins and stuff like that, whilst it gets on the eyes it particularly is going to likely be a action picture and it's going to conceal the physique of the fish additionally. I think he's dead too. My goldfish died and he had the same milky white film around his whole body. See if he moves, I guess.

If he doesn't move then I think it's fishy-heaven-toilet time.

Its probably dead or has a disease. Usually that white film will appear a day or two after its died. If it isn't dead, I would flush it anyway so that it doesn't disease your other fish.

Scoop him up in a fish net. You'll be able to tell if it's dead or not.
