The fastest shark is the shortfin mako (Isurus oxyrinchus). It has been recorded to reach swimming speeds of up to 20 mph (32 km/h).

The shortfin Mako shark is the fastest and can reach speeds of up to 50 kmh (31 mph)!

Having been in the water with a black-tipped fin shark when fishing in the Andaman Sea, I can definitely say it doesn't matter if it's a Mako or not, those things move fast!

probably great white coz its the biggest and have more power in its fins n stuff.. i know the fastest fish is the Sail fish!
