one can get to be a TC by posting a lot of good answers in ONE to THREE (you can have the "title for up to 3 categories, in other words) categories, by being a responsible user, and (this IS true!) being picked at random for doing the 1st 2 things. there are some with as few as 800 points who ARE TCs and others i've seen with 13,000 pts who are NOT.
i really do not like it, and many others of us feel the same.
