Would you just marry someone just to help you out with a tax break and so we can get more grant money for college. Its seems immoral but most marriages dont work there is a high divorce rate. Let me know would you do it if so why and if not why??

Broken home and that are excuses. I know plenty of people who do this I mean I know its semi-immoral but at this point Im not getting any younger and just poorer. SO IF I CAN get more grant money why not

No. The reason the divorce rate is high is because marriages today are made up, in large part, by people from broken or dysfunctional homes. Since they come from broken homes, they don't know how to work on staying together and working out their problems - or they didn't know each other all that well to begin with.

A steady and long-term marraige is one of give and take, bending and compromising. Oh my, and love. If you love your mate, you will WANT to do these things to make them happy.

Hell no. What you're proposing is called cheating the government, hence illegal not to mention immoral. And using the excuse that most marriages don't work anyway does not make it right.

It isn't important what any of us think, it is important what you think. Get some legal advise before you do. Marriage is a civil contract with, in your case, maybe some hidden agendas.....

No way. I wouldn't marry even under threat of death or dismemberment.
